Etalon Mix Event 2025 – Vera Melnik’s PMU Achievement

October in New York City always feels electric — but this year, the energy reached a whole new level for the permanent makeup community. The city that never sleeps became the host of the first-ever international Etalon Mix Event, a spectacular championship that brought together some of the most talented and creative PMU artists from all around the world.

For me, it was much more than just another event — it was a celebration of artistry, growth, and shared passion. This time, I had the unique opportunity to participate in the online category, which turned out to be an incredibly inspiring experience. Competing virtually allowed my work to be evaluated by world-class judges representing different countries, each bringing their own perspective, standards, and artistic vision. The idea that my work could be seen and appreciated by professionals across continents, all from the comfort of my studio, felt both thrilling and humbling.

At the same time, I had the pleasure of attending the in-person Etalon Mix conference in New York, which was every bit as energizing as I had imagined. The conference floor buzzed with creativity — conversations about pigments, machines, and new techniques filled the air, but beyond that, there was a true sense of community. Seeing familiar faces, reconnecting with dear colleagues, and meeting new inspiring artists reminded me once again that this profession is about more than beauty — it’s about connection, transformation, and constant evolution.

When the time came for the award ceremony, my heart was racing with excitement. I’m incredibly proud to share that I received 3rd place in the "Master Machine Hairstrokes" category and 2nd place in the "Master Shaded Liner" category. Each recognition felt like a symbol of dedication — the result of countless hours of practice, creativity, and deep love for what I do.

These achievements are not just medals; they’re milestones in my personal and professional journey. Every competition reminds me why I started in this field: to keep learning, challenging myself, and elevating my craft to bring confidence and joy to every client who sits in my chair.

As I look back on this unforgettable event, I feel deeply grateful — to my mentors, my colleagues, and my clients who trust me with their beauty transformations.
